Big Sky in May and June
What brought me to Montana was the fishing. What holds me in awe every day is the view of the mountains and the "Big Sky" that frames the ephemeral beauty of the western landscape. Hardly a day passes without the show of magnificent cloud structures.
The clouds ignite my imagination of different scenes: whimsical creatures, the abstract, the brilliant white Cumulus skies that predict fair weather or the storm clouds rolling in and what they may bring. The drama unfolds every day, and all that it requires to witness the spectacle is to take the time to look. Joy.

HAMLET Do you see yonder cloud that’s almost in shape of a camel?
POLONIUS By th’ mass and ‘tis, like a camel indeed.
HAMLET Methinks it is like a weasel.
POLONIUS It is backed like a weasel
HAMLET Or like a whale.
POLONIUS Very like a whale.
Act III, ii

that could lift me up above my troubles,
far above the birds.
